Extent Zoom of the model
 
Extent Zoom centers and maximizes the model in the view by zooming in or out to accommodate all the model inside the view window.
 
This action may be executed by clicking on the reference axis origin with the right button of the mouse.
 
Clicking on center yellow sphere with left mouse button will execute "Zoom Extent" and if it is clicked with right mouse button it will execute "Zoom Extent" in isometric view.

Box Zoom allows the user to visualize any part of the model by clicking and dragging a box over the desired zone.

Edge thickness slider

Change the amount of edge thickness in the model view given by the slider.

Create view button

Create a new view
 
This tool can be used to create a new view, listed in View Utils window.
 
 
           User can define the camera center view (Position), target position (Look at), rotation angle with respect to the upper axis (Up vector) in the plane view (Orientation).

Create clipping plane

7. Create clipping plane
Creates cutting planes for viewing. Only available if video graphics card supports OpenGL 3.1 or higher. There are three options to define a clipping plane:
 
  • By Plane: Name, Initial clipping plane point (slider central position) and clipping normal plane are defined.
     
  • By 2 points: Name, First and Second point are defined.
     
              
  • By 3 points: Name, First, Second and Third points are defined.

Turn the view from the Orthogonal projection into the Conical projection and vice versa
 
This option allows the change of view between the Orthogonal and the Conical projection on whichever preferences.

Capture button

Capture a snapshot of the graphical view and store it in a file
 
Capture option will save a screen shot of the model view.
 
Custom size can be selected to enable user input for "Width" and "Height" options or choose among predefined resolutions. If your graphics card does not support OpenGL 3.1 or higher, the window size of "Model View" is used.
 
 
 
"Path to store" denotes what format and where the image file is going to be saved.
 
"Help text" option can be checked to draw the helper box that appears when using forms. For example:
 
 
"Dithering" applies a noise to the image background in order to avoid bands when a gradient color is present. Only available if your graphics card support OpenGL 3.1 or higher.
