Modifies bridge cross-sections data

PREP7 : BRIDGE AND CIVIL NON LINEARITIES: Bridge model generation

ICSEC

Cross section number to modify.

Lab1, Lab2, Lab3

Indicate the property to define or modify in the cross section. The valid label and the fields used are shown hereafter (if properties are not indicated, they will be left blank).

VALUE

Assigned value to the specified property in Lab1, Lab2 and Lab3.

IDX1, IDX2, IDX3

Identifying index of the property to modify. Valid values depend on the different group properties defined in Lab1, Lab2 and Lab3.

Lab1

Lab2

Lab3

Description

NAME

VALUE = name of the section.

MAT

VALUE = section material

BOX

It modifies data of box sections.

KSYM

VALUE = 0, 1, -1

0

Non symmetrical cross section.

1

Symmetrical cross section. Taking in the command execution the left part. Any later modification will be made symmetrically.

-1

Symmetrical section. Taking in the command execution the right part. Any later modification will be made symmetrically.

CELL

IDX1 = cell number (0 = ALL).

WIDTH

VALUE = cell width.

THTOP

VALUE = top thickness (slab).

THBOT

VALUE = bottom thickness.

WEB

IDX1 = web number (0 = ALL).

DEPTH

VALUE = web depth (distance between directrix).

THICK

VALUE = web thickness.

SLOPE

VALUE = web slope respect to the vertical. Positive in counter-clockwise direction.

RATS

VALUE = flange length ratio corresponding to the slope starting point. IDX2= IT, the IT field is referred to the corners (see values in SLPB).

SLPS

VALUE = slope respect to the corresponding directrix (always positive). IDX2= IT, the IT field is referred to the corners (see values in SLPB).

RATB

VALUE = corresponding flange length ratio where the bracket starts. IDX2= IT, the IT field is referred to the corners (see values in SLPB).

SLPB

VALUE = bracket slope respect to the corresponding directrix (always positive)
IDX2 = IT, field IT refers to the corners:

IT=0: all the corners.
IT=1: Top left corner.
IT=2: Top right corner.
IT=3: Bottom left corner.
IT=4: Bottom right corner.

FLANGE

VALUE = flange number (0 = ALL).

LENGTH

VALUE = flange length (0 to clear the flange).

THICK

VALUE = flange thickness.

CROWN

Crown.

THINCR

VALUE = additional slab thickness.

RATIO

VALUE = distance ratio of the bridge deck where the thickness is applied (by default 0.5).

RMAT

VALUE = Reinforcement material.

MC

VALUE = Mechanical cover for the reinforcement.
