Modifies the properties of shell vertex

PREP7: Shell Vertex

IVTX

Number of shell vertex to modify.

Lab1, Lab2, Lab3

Show the property of the shell vertex to modify. Valid labels and used fields are shown next.

VALUE

Value to assign to the specified property in Lab1, Lab2 and Lab3.

The different applications this command may have, depending on the properties to modify, are described hereafter.

 

Lab1= NAME

 

~SHLMDF, IVTX, NAME, , , VALUE

Introduces the name of the shell vertex. The name is introduced in VALUE.

 

Lab1= THK

 

~SHLMDF, IVTX, THK, , , VALUE

Shell vertex thickness. Its value is specified in VALUE.

 

Lab1= MAT

 

~SHLMDF, IVTX, MAT, , , VALUE

Material of the shell vertex. The material number is specified in VALUE.

 

Lab1= IPREINF

Modifies the properties concerning to the shell vertex in-plane shear reinforcement. Valid properties are the following:

Description

MATIP

In plane shear reinforcement material. The material number is specified in VALUE.

ASSIPX

In plane shear reinforcement area per unit of length in the X direction. The value is specified in VALUE.

ASSIPY

In plane shear reinforcement area per unit of length in the Y direction. The value is specified in VALUE.

 

Lab1= REINF

Modifies the properties concerning to the shell vertex bending reinforcement. Valid properties are the following:

Description

MAT

Bending reinforcement material. The material number is specified in VALUE.

MC

Mechanical cover of shell vertex .The cover value is specified in VALUE.

MCXT

Mechanical cover in X top face. The cover value is specified in VALUE.

MCXB

Mechanical cover in X bottom face. The cover value is specified in VALUE.

MCYT

Mechanical cover in Y top face. The cover value is specified in VALUE.

MCYB

Mechanical cover in Y bottom face. The cover value is specified in VALUE.

ASSXT

Area per unit length of reinforcement in X top face. The value of the reinforcement is specified in VALUE.

ASSXB

Area per unit length of reinforcement in X bottom face. The value of the reinforcement is specified in VALUE.

ASSYT

Area per unit length of reinforcement in Y top face. The value of the reinforcement is specified in VALUE.

ASSYB

Area per unit length of reinforcement in Y bottom face. The value of the reinforcement is specified in VALUE.

SXT

Separation between bars in X top face

SXB

Separation between bars in X bottom face

SYT

Separation between bars in Y top face

KRNF

Situation of reinforcements. Valid values are the following:

Not braced bars. Value by default.

Braced bars.

ALP

Angle between the reinforcement with respect to the Y-axis, and the element local Y-axis. It is only taken in to account in Wood Armer’s method. By default, ALP=0. (Sexagesimal degrees).

 

Lab1= CP

Modifies the shell vertex code properties. Valid properties are the following:

Description

THETA

Angle of the concrete compressive strut referred to the direction of the longitudinal reinforcement (sexagesimal degrees).

DUCT_BN_X

Inelastic energy absorption factor for bending in X direction. Used to consider ductility in HCLPF check.

DUCT_BN_Y

Inelastic energy absorption factor for bending in Y direction. Used to consider ductility in HCLPF check.

DUCT_OP_X

Inelastic energy absorption factor for out of plane shear in X direction. Used to consider ductility in HCLPF check.

DUCT_OP_Y

Inelastic energy absorption factor for out of plane shear in Y direction. Used to consider ductility in HCLPF check.

DUCT_IP_X

Inelastic energy absorption factor for in plane shear in X direction. Used to consider ductility in HCLPF check.

DUCT_IP_Y

Inelastic energy absorption factor for in plane shear in Y direction. Used to consider ductility in HCLPF check.

Modifies the properties concerning to the shell vertex shear reinforcement. Valid properties are the following:

Shear reinforcement material. The material number is specified in VALUE.

Reinforcement area per unit of area. The value is specified in VALUE.

Distance between bars in the X direction. The value of the distance is specified in VALUE.

Distance between bars in the Y direction. The value of the distance is specified in VALUE.

PHIOP

Diameter of the bars in millimeters. The value of the diameter is specified in VALUE.

NXOP

Number of bars per unit length in the X direction. The number of bars is specified in VALUE.

NYOP

Number of bars per unit length in the Y direction. The number of bars is specified in VALUE

ASSOPX

Reinforcement area per unit of area in the X direction. The value is specified in VALUE.

ASSOPY

Reinforcement area per unit of area in the Y direction. The value is specified in VALUE.
