HTML Interface

This window creates a table in HTML from Ansys or CivilFEM vectors. It is available through the command ~VWHTML. The appearance of the window is the following:

The user may introduce a name for the resulting file. Also a title for the graphic can be specified, although it is optional.

At first, an vector with the X values must be chosen. In the “Array 0” spread list, the names of the Ansys’ variables that have only one dimension (vectors) and are array-type (not table-type) will be shown.  It is also possible an automatic numbering (auto-numbering) for the X variable, that will assign the 1,2,3,4,5,… values.

It must be taken into account that if there are no proper Ansys variables, the Y spread list will appear empty. The first Y spread list will be enabled when the X vector is selected.

If a variable with the Y values is selected, the default color (black) will be assigned to it (it may be changed). At the same time, a new spread list will be enabled for the next Y variable.

With just one series the table can be created.

This process may be repeated up to 15 vectors for the Y variable.

The Exit option will indicate what to do with the file after its creation.

Saving HTML options:

0  – Saves the HTML file and opens it.

1 – Saves the HTML file without opening it. It will show a warning if the file already exists, and will not replace it.

-1 – Saves the HTML file without opening it. It will replace any existing file with the same name as the one created.

An example is hereafter shown. If the Apply button is pressed instead of the OK button, the same result will be obtained, but the HTML Interface window will not be closed.

And the HTML results are:
