~BLCBPA

~BLCBPA, x, y, z, T, p1, p2, p3, q1, q2, q3

Defines a prestressing cable

SOLUTION : BRIDGE AND CIVIL NON LINEARITIES: Bridge model loads

x, y, z

Point coordinates.

T

Tension of the cable at the defined point (force units).

p1, p2, p3

Tangent vector to the point’s previous segment.

q1, q2, q3

Tangent vector to the point’s subsequent segment.

Notes

- At the initial point: p1=p2=p3=0.

- At the final point: q1=q2=q3=0.

- At the intermediate points, with continuous derivative among sections: p1=p2=p3= q1=q2=q3=0.

- If (p1 p2 p3) and (q1 q2 q3) are different than zero, the point is angular or singular.

- The points are introduced in order. The lines join consecutive points.

The ~BLCBPA command must be included in the definition loop of the prestressing cables the beginning of which is carried out with the ~BLCBST command and ends with the ~BLCBEND command.
