~FMREAD

~FMREAD, Fname, Ext

Import the forces and moments results (of the selected elements) from an ASCII file to the RCV file.

DATABASE: Parameter

Fname

File name and directory path (248 characters maximum, including the characters needed for the directory path). An unspecified directory path defaults to the working directory; in this case, you can use all 248 characters for the file name.

The file name defaults to Jobname.

Ext

Filename extension (8 characters maximum).

The extension defaults to the CFSF.

Notes

- ~CFRAPPN command can be issued to duplicate any load step, if desired, and then substitute the forces and moments with the ~FMREAD command, or directly use the ~FMREAD command to modify any load step solved.

- ~FMREAD command only acts on the RCV file, leaving ANSYS results file (RST) unaltered.

- It will substitute only the ones indicated in ASCII file, leaving the rest unchanged.

- This command cannot be accessed through menu.
