~SBSMDEF, ISS1, ISS2, ISSINC, ISSL1, ISSL2, ISSLINC

Captures the support beam from the solid sections of a solid or shell element model

PREP7: PRESTRESSED CONCRETE: Support beam

ISS1

Initial solid section.

ISS2

Final solid section (by default ISS2 =ISS1).

ISSINC

Increment (by default ISSINC =1).

ISSL1

Initial solid section for left sections (-).

ISSL2

Final solid section for left sections (-) (by default ISSL2 =ISSL1).

ISSLINC

Increment for left sections (-) (by default ISSLINC =1).

Notes

- The solid sections are added to the ones previously defined, being placed at the final end of the support beam. The solid sections are consecutively added to the previous ones. The ~SBSMMDF command should be used for deleting, inserting any section in intermediate points.

- The introduced solid sections will be the cuts of the support beam.

- The support beam will be captured on the active coordinate system. The vertical direction must be oriented towards the Y axis. It is recommended to place the X axis along the main direction of the tendons, in order to avoid geometrical singularities (a tendon must not have any segment parallel to the Z axis).

- If the support beam has already been started to capture, the coordinate system used will always be the one used for the first cut.

- If ISSL1 = 0, ISSL2 and ISSLINC will be ignored. The cuts will have the same left (-) and right (+) sections (defined by ISS1, ISS2 and ISSINC). Example: ~SBSMDEF,1,5,1 (solid sections 1 to 5 have been defined previously).

- The number of sections defined by ISS1, ISS2, ISSINC must be the same as the one defined by ISSL1, ISSL2, ISSLINC.

- If ISSL1, ISSL2, ISSLINC, are given, the solid sections will be distributed at each cut as shown in the following example: ~SBSMDEF,1,4,1,12,15,1 (solid sections 1 to 4 and 12 to 15 have been defined previously).

- The left and right sections of the same cut must be defined at the same location (capture coordinate system at the same location and with the same orientation).
