List forces and moments in beam and shell elements and solid sections.

POST1: Beam & Shell Utilities

LabNode

Element end or vertex to be listed. For beam elements valid labels are:

I

I section.

J

J section.

BOTH

Both sections (default value).

For shell element vertices, valid labels are the following:

I

Vertex I

J

Vertex J

K

Vertex K

L

Vertex L

ALL

All vertices

For solid sections valid labels are the following:

N

Number of solid section.

ALLS

All solid sections.

Lab1

Component to be listed.

FX

List axial force (for beam elements).

TX

List X Axial force (for shell elements).

ALL

List all forces and moments.

Lab2, Lab3, Lab4, Lab5, Lab6, Lab7, Lab8

Additional forces and moments to be listed.

Lab2

FY

Y shear force (for beam elements)

TY

Y axial force (for shell elements)

Lab3

FZ

Z shear force (for beam elements)

TXY

In plane XY force (for shell elements)

Lab4

MX

Torsional moment (for beam elements) or X bending moment (for shell elements)

Lab5

MY

Y bending moment

Lab6

MZ

Z bending moment (for beam elements)

MXY

XY torsional moment (for shell elements)

Lab7

NX

X shear force (for shell elements)

Lab8

NY

Y shear force (for shell elements)

Notes

- This command lists forces and moments on selected beam elements or on the indicated solid sections. In case a solid section is indicated, the forces and moments on beam elements will not be listed, although they are already selected.

- If prestressing has been calculated in the load step, isostatic and hyperstatic forces and moments of beams and solid section will be automatically added in the list.
