Pre designs concrete rectangular sections for the selected elements

POST1: Concrete Checking

DIRKEY

Key identifying the bending plane

0

Moment Mz (XY plane)

1

Moment My (XZ plane)

MCTOP

Mechanical cover at top

MCBOT

Mechanical cover at bottom

RNFMAT

Reinforcing steel material

KFILL

Key identifying the command action:

0

Fill up the array (MATRIX) defined in the next argument of the command.

1

Fill up the array and introduce the obtained reinforcement amount in the cross sections of the selected elements. This amount is introduced as scalable reinforcement. These reinforcement values can be used as input value to the design process according to the active code.

2

Fill up the array and introduce the obtained reinforcement amount in the cross sections of the selected elements. This amount is introduced as fixed reinforcement. These reinforcement values can be used as input value to the design process according to the active code.

Matrix

The name of the created array that. This array is dimensioned as MATRIX(14, NSEL), where NSEL is the maximum number of the selected elements.

MATRIX (1, J)

Number of element

MATRIX (2, J)

Indicates the end type in the element

1

For end I

2

For end J

MATRIX (3, J)

Envelop of bottom reinforcement

MATRIX (4, J)

Envelop of top reinforcement

MATRIX (5, J)

Necessary reinforcement amount at bottom

MATRIX (6, J)

Necessary reinforcement amount at top

MATRIX (7, J)

Minimum geometrical reinforcement amount at bottom

MATRIX (8, J)

Minimum geometrical reinforcement amount at top

MATRIX (9, J)

Minimum mechanical reinforcement amount at bottom

MATRIX (10, J)

Minimum mechanical reinforcement amount at top

MATRIX (11, J)

Section situation with respect to the solicitation:

1

Pure compression

2

Pure bending

3

Axial compression+bending (only compression fibers)

4

Axial+Bending

5

Axial tension + bending (only tensioned fibers)

6

Tension

MATRIX (12, J)

Condition that designs the bottom reinforcement:

1

Necessary amount

2

Minimum geometrical amount

3

Minimum mechanical amount

MATRIX (13, J)

Condition that designs the top reinforcement:

1

Necessary amount

2

Minimum geometrical amount

3

Minimum mechanical amount

MATRIX (14, J)

Position of the more tensioned or less compressed fiber

1

Pure compression or pure tension

2

Top fiber

3

Bottom fiber

FITOP

Bar diameter in millimeters at top location. If this argument is left blank or zero, the reinforcement will be considered as linearly distributed. This field is valid only if KFILL = 1 or 2.

FIBOT

Bar diameter in millimeters at bottom location. If this argument is left blank or zero, the reinforcement will be considered as linearly distributed. This field is valid only if KFILL = 1 or 2.

TYP

Section type for the reinforcement minimum amount calculation

0

Beams (default value)

1

Columns

2

Slab

3

Wall (horizontal reinforcement)

4

Wall (vertical reinforcement)

Notes

- The reinforcement amount placed in each cross section corresponds to the largest amount calculated for all the elements that compose the section.

- The obtained reinforcement is an estimate value and it does not depend on the active code.
