Plots stresses and strains on beam elements.

POST1: Beam Utilities

Comp

Code identifying the stress component drawn by the command

SX

Stress in X direction

EPX

Strain in X direction

Point

Section point in which stresses are drawn.

N

Stress or strain in N point of the section

MAX

Maximum stress or strain in all the section’s points (positive, maximum tension)

MIN

Minimum stress or strain in all the section’s points (negative, maximum compression)

ABS

Maximum stress or strain in absolute value

FACT

Optional scale value for the draw. A negative factor reverses the graphic so that positive values are drawn downwards.

Notes

- The graphic output will be stored in two temporal etables named CFETAB_I and CFETAB_J.

- The annotations that appear in the graph are automatically deleted in order to avoid being shown in the following drawings. Therefore, if the command “Replot” is used, the new drawing will not have annotations. To get back the annotations, issue the ~PLLSSTR command again or send it to a file.
