Check a reinforced concrete beam subjected to shear force according to Eurocode 2 (1991)
A 5m length beam which is simply supported, has a T reinforced concrete section and is subjected to a uniform distributed load of 84 kN/m.
The aim of the example is to obtain the check criterion according to Eurocode 2 (1991).
The example is based on "DESIGNERS' HANDBOOK TO EUROCODE 2", BEEBY AND NARAYANAN, 1995, PAGE 97, EX.6.1
