A steel beam is subjected to a uniform load of 0.82 k/ft.
The beam has a length of 21 ft.
Section material properties: A529Gr50 , Fy = 46 ksi / , Fu = 58 ksi
Geometric properties: HSS 10 x 6 x 3/16 The aim of the example is to obtain the flexure criterion according to AISC-ASD13.
